The 45 Day Hiatus & Past Video Project!

Ok, For the people who didn’t know, my recent music video I posted “Do My Thang” was my last video until I come back with another one, but you probably want to know or asking “why is that” and why so soon.

Well, technically, I was supposed to work with this person who happen to be a former manager of A.P.T., he helped A.P.T. with his Non Juan and I was involved with that as well. He was supposed to help me with my producing career but I haven’t heard from him since March. I’m starting to think he forgot about me and he give him some work of mine, which I happen to have copyrights of. So now, since he haven’t respond to me, i’m taking matters into my own hands. I don’t see myself making money off producing beats if I don’t have help but I have a plan for it!

This is one of the reasons why i’m taking the 45 day hiatus from doing music videos and songs. The other reason is: I have a job, which takes most of my valuable time, except the weekends. To be honest, I hate working at a job because – 1: It’s a hour away from home, 2: I don’t have a set schedule and it means that they set me at different times of the week & 3: The money i’m making money is not all that good. It’s sucks and I just wish I was self employed and make a lot of money, but I look at it this way, it’s the only way I can make money. So while i’m on this 45 days hiatus, i’m setting something up on my site, that will hopefully get me where I want to be.

I started my hiatus on May 16. I will be back on July 11th, yeah, that’s a little after 45 days but it was planned, but i’m still ain’t making music videos until I feel I should. RIght now, i’m just in video editing mode. I see why A.P.T. took a break from making videos. Oh yeah, in case you didn’t know, I used to do an music video back last year called “The King Kut One Song A Week Music Video Project” series, I would post up music video every Monday until I get 50 music videos, Sadly, I did not get to 50 music videos because of my computer. I ended the project with 45 music videos and that’s when I took a short break and came back in November with a changed nickname to drop my comeback video “I Do This”. Lately after that, I dropped my a mixtape called “Still On My Grind” and from there, I was making music videos again, but not every week.

You have this question in your mind saying – Where is all of them 45 music videos?

Well…They was on my old YouTube page with the username “KingKutOnFire”, but I closed that account because I had account warnings and on top of that, I wasn’t getting anywhere in views. I was stuck with 42 subscribers and every video I would posted every week would not make even close to 30 views, except one video “Booty Bounce” which was my first music video in the project had over 6,000 views in 3 months. After I got done with that the project, I realized that I wanted more views and more attention but then, I felt like I did the project for nothing, so yeah, it was a waste of my time but i’m not mad now.

I actually doing better than last year and so far, it’s been great. My YouTube video views is 10 times better then last year. Unfortunately, none of music videos made 1,000 views yet but it’s way more better than be stuck at 20 or 30 views. Every music video I posted has 100 views or over. Right now, my most viewed music video is “Never Been A Lame”, currently has 515 views and counting while my other video “Swag Game” is behind it at 505 views. I’m loving it!!

Now my goal is to making money selling beats, make me a hit song that will get me a little more attention and make an interesting video that will get 1,000 views in at least 2 or 3 weeks, which will require more subscribers to my YouTube page. All I can focus on my remaining days of my short hiatus is working on something for my site, coming soon. When I comeback, I will make an special announcement about a project that will be released later down the line, but until then, stay tuned…
